Amateur radio special event stations W2T & W2P commemorate the American Revolution: on-air 26-Dec-17 thru 5-Jan-18

The Delaware Valley Radio Association (DVRA) is operating two special event stations W2T and W2P to commemorate two historic battles in the American Revolution:  The Battle of Trenton in 1776, and The Battle of Princeton in 1777.

Beautiful full-color QSL cards are available to amateur radio (ham radio) operators for both events.  Additionally, a certificate conferring a “commission” as a Lieutenant in the Continental Army Signal Corps can be obtained if you work both stations.

W2T is on-air from 26-Dec-2017 through 30-Dec-2017, and W2P is on-air from 02-Jan-2018 through 05-Jan-2018.

The DVRA club station is located on the route General George Washington and his troops traveled as they crossed the Delaware River and marched to Trenton, New Jersey.

More information regarding QSL cards and the events can be found on qrz.com and the December issue of QST—the monthly membership journal of ARRL.
